“I’d like to meditate, but I just can’t seem to find the time or patience to.”

“I know that meditating is a good practice, but I find it challenging to sit quietly.”

“I wish I could meditate regularly. I know it would be valuable for me.”

If these statements are not strangers to you, and you are willing to take some time to learn how to not be constrained by such considerations and begin, or continue to enjoy the tremendous value of a regular meditation practice, I invite you to participate in our SHAMATHA MEDITATION Series. This is the Buddhist practice of calming the mind and its “fluctuations” by practicing single-pointed focus, with emphasis on breathing. Gentle yoga poses will be practiced as well.
