Yoga Nidra: The Art of Conscious Deep Relaxation

Yoga Nidra, or ‘Yoga Sleep’, is a guided mediation that brings you into a state of conscious, deep relaxation. This practice takes you on a journey through layers of the physical and subtle bodies, opens doors of perception and invites you to use your awareness to promote creativity and healing. Yoga Nidra has been shown to have physical, psychological and neurological benefits: reducing stress, helping with trauma and ptsd, restore energy and improve overall health and well being.
This one and a half hour session will include an overview of Classical Yoga Nidra, a 45-minute guided meditation practice, and time to re-group and reflect . Please wear comfortable clothing. (maybe bring a pillow or shawl, though we will have blankets and props.) No experience necessary.
