Bobbye retired from a Fortune 500 company and followed her passion for Yoga; from the corporate cube to teaching yoga. During her working career, she practiced yoga over twenty years and experienced the healing benefits of calming and quieting the mind in her personal and professional life. Three weeks after retirement, she embarked on her new journey in yoga teacher training. Bobbye earned her 200 hour teaching certification in 2012 and is a RYT with Yoga Alliance, and currently teaches in the Atlanta Decatur areas.
Bobbye’s joy and privilege is to share her gift of teaching yoga to everybody; all levels, gentle, chair/mat, restorative and vinyasa flow. Her teaching focuses on the art of aging gracefully with joy through movement. Bobbye is motivated to be an inspiration to “love yourself; love your body” with emphasis on opening the heart center to enable healing the body, calming the mind and balancing your life. She is compassionate and caring serving and guiding students to receive the rewards of flexibility, strength and better health through a renewing and refreshing breath centered practice.
Bobbye continues to be excited and energized to continue her training and includes in her toolbox workshops with Tra Kirkpatrick, Yoga Therapy, 30-hour module; Yoga for Osteoporosis; Yoga for Cancer Survivors; and Vista Yoga. She continues to study with Tias & Surya Little, Prajna Yoga School, Santa Fe, NM, to complete her 300 hour teacher certification.
