YOGA CLASSES FOR PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM
Five Class Pack – $80
Prenatal yoga serves women at every stage of pregnancy. It relieves the common discomforts of pregnancy, increases maternal confidence, and helps prepare for labor and delivery. Scientific studies now show that because of positive outcomes for labor and delivery, and for the health and wellness of the mother (including after birth), prenatal yoga should be seen as an integral part of pregnancy.
I have happily been helping women and families have a healthy, stress-free, informed and enjoyable pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience for the past 25 years.
My desire to be a stay at home mom, combined with my enthusiasm for studying and continuing to work in a healing field, led to my next adventure in life – an extensive study of yoga. Following the tradition of T.K.V Desikachar, I have been a certified yoga, prenatal yoga and post partum yoga teacher at Emory University, the Goizueta Business School, the Pierce program and now in studios around town for the past 27 years.
My prenatal classes have evolved into a combination of pregnancy yoga, breath work and childbirth education.
I proceeded to get my DONA Doula Certification – CD(DONA), and my Lamaze childbirth educator certification to better serve my yoga students as well as other moms, to complete this amazing 9 months journey with me supporting them at their birth.
I am honored to be a part of this sacred time in a mother/couple’s life and I strive to help each one to have the birth experience that they desire – offering encouragement, advice and assistance while honoring their wishes.

Natalie is a kind and intuitive individual and a life-long learner. She believes that when we approach life with an open heart, engage with others from a place of compassion, guide others from a place of authenticity, and move through the world with a sense of purpose, an awakening from within occurs. This awakening has the power to heal, nourish, transform and enliven ourselves, our loved ones, our students and our communities. She teaches yoga as a means of connecting with herself, with others, the Earth and the Divine, and as an offering to all of those with whom she walks this path of grace, truth and endless discovery.
Natalie is an outgoing and encouraging teacher whose classes are creative and energizing. She believes in welcoming and including students of all abilities, levels and stages of life, and offering intelligent and challenging sequencing in order to motivate and inspire everyone who comes to the mat. She believes in being present, patient and authentic in order to hold space for her students in a safe and caring environment that promotes spiritual connection, physical activation, inner work, growth, expansion and openness. She considers yoga to be a tool for transformation that builds strength, resilience, trust, balance, peace, harmony and healing within individuals and communities.
One of Natalie’s favorite quotes is, “I expand into the place my ancestors couldn’t.” – Chani Nicholas.
