According to Ayurveda there is no right food for everyone, nor is there a right food all year round. In this three part series, we will explore the basic principles of Ayurveda and how they apply to one of the most important aspects of our lives – our food! Ayurveda’s Six taste theory sets the Western food paradigm on its head by placing the focus upon the eater – namely you!
This workshop is sure to bring many ‘aha’ moments as we explore the deep meaning of food in our lives and learn how to nourish ourselves through the seasons. We will explore the idea of a seasonal pantry and how best to shop and prepare our meals in simple, yet delicious ways. We will explore the world of spices and their medicinal properties and maybe explore some recipes that we can talk about in class!
If a class is missed, a recording will be shared, along with class notes!
