Moving & Living with Ease: Awareness Through Movement

We have all heard the expression – “a pain in the neck” and sure enough there are many things and even people who are the source of such pain in our daily lives.

Yet, what indeed is the “neck”? It is a part of the spine – the most delicate part of it – and we name (and often use) the neck as if it was a thing on its own – with little or no relation to the other parts of the spine or the body. In this series we explore the movements of the 7 cervical vertebrae and their relationship with the rest of the spine and with the shoulders, jaw, eyes, hips and the breath.
